Initially, the Centre was established in 1993 as EC Energy Centre Kiev within the frames of the European Commission TACIS Programme. During 14 years of its operation the Centre has acquired major experience in preparation and carrying out of technical and investment projects in the different fields of activities co-operating with foreign and local experts and established close relations with the Ukrainian authorities, organizations, industries and different companies abroad.

Since that time the company has implemented its own projects on the local market financed by Ukrainian industries and supported or directly participated in a number of projects financed by the EC or in bilateral agreement projects, mainly carried out by Danish companies.

Cleaner Technologies Centre, Ukraine was established as a follow up of the Danish-Ukrainian project Cleaner Technologies in Machine Building Industry in Ukraine providing establishment of Cleaner Production capacity in Ukraine.

Now CT Centre is an independent entity providing different type of practical assistance and consulting services in the field of energy efficiency and environmental protection based on the acquired experience.
